Hi & Welcome to Wander the Hills!
I’m Lexie Hill, a travel enthusiast turned travel agent, passionate about helping others travel the world. I strive to wander far and live fully. Growing up in both Georgia and California, two very different places, sparked my wanderlust from a young age.
I attended the University of Georgia, where I earned a degree in Business Marketing with a minor in Fashion Merchandising. It’s also where I met my husband, Evan – on the very first day of freshman year! Eight years later, we’re happily married and living just outside of Atlanta with our sweet pup, Lula. We recently bought our first house and have loved turning it into a home – one DIY project at a time.
After graduating, I started my career in marketing while traveling whenever Evan & I could – weekend getaways, visiting friends in new cities, and exploring Atlanta. The more I traveled, the more I realized this was more of a passion than a hobby, and I started filling my life with passport stamps, faraway adventures, and unforgettable memories.
Guanacaste, Costa Rica, was the first big trip I planned in July of 2023. On the first night of our trip, Evan proposed to me on the beach! We spent the rest of the week soaking in the beauty of Costa Rica and celebrating our engagement. We loved it so much, we knew we had to return for our wedding.
Our wedding and honeymoon quickly became the next travel events I planned. Our wedding was an unforgettable, three-day fun-and-love filled celebration for 100 guests at Dreams Las Mareas. After the festivities, we set off on a magical week-long honeymoon – starting with a serene stay at the incredible Origins Luxury Lodge, and ending with sun-soaked days in the breathtaking coastal town of Las Catalinas. Costa Rica will always hold a special place in our hearts. ❤️
The places we stayed and things we saw have inspired us to see the world. We’ve slowly but surely been crossing places off our bucket list, starting with Iceland in March 2025, and France and England in August. Each destination has left us with unforgettable memories, deeper appreciation for different cultures, and an ever-growing desire to explore even more.
